Miller-Rice Pile Dike Repairs
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Portland District is seeking construction firms for a firm-fixed-price contract to repair and enhance the Miller-Rice Pile Dikes on the Columbia River in Wahkiakum County, Washington. The project involves raising and connecting enrockments for pile dikes PD 23.71 and PD 23.81, and repairing PD 24.63 with an offset placement to avoid removing existing piles. The estimated cost of the project is between $25 million and $100 million. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled for release in July 2026, with proposals due in September 2026. Performance will take place between River Mile 22 and River Mile 25 on the Columbia River.
