John Day Dam Powerhouse HVAC Upgrades
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires HVAC system upgrades at the John Day Dam Powerhouse, located approximately 109 miles east of Portland, Oregon. The work is extensive, involving the complete replacement of primary chillers, installation of new systems integrated with digital controls and fire protection, and must be performed within an active operational facility. The estimated construction budget is between $25 million and $100 million. Physical construction is anticipated to take 1,004 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. A critical condition of award is that the prime contractor and relevant subcontractors must have a current Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 (Self) or higher status posted in SPRS.
