The dredging project includes mandator... The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Portland District intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) NO. W9127N25BA002 for OR/WA Clamshell Maintenance Dredging 2025. The dredging project includes mandatory and optional work at nine locations, two in Oregon (Port Orford and Charleston) and seven in Washington (Baker Bay, Chinook, Longview Turning Basin, Old Mouth Cowlitz, Port of Longview, Kalama, and the Vancouver Lower Anchorage). Clamshell dredging is required by this contract. Material placement is within designated ocean disposal and in-river sites. The total approximate scope is 466,000 cubic yards depending on project needs and funding availability. The overall period of performance will be from 22 May 2025 through 31 January 2026 for physical completion of all work to include all options. The forthcoming solicitation is subject to the availability of funds. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 7 April 2025 with bids due 30 days after advertisement. This procurement is anticipated to be solicited as a Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. The small business size standard is $37 million. The magnitude of construction is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. A pre-solicitation conference is scheduled for 31 March 2025 at 11:30 am Pacific Time via Microsoft Teams teleconference.
