*Amendment 0002 has been uploaded to to update Specification 31 68 13.00 25 Soil and Rock Anchors, Section 2.1.5, to include wire ropeanchors for the installation of the rockfall mesh. See Attachments Amend 0002 W9127N23R0031 and AMND_0002 Spec 31 68 13.00 25. The Final Bidder Inquiry Responses have also been added. The submittal date is NOT extended. *Amendment 0001 to extend the proposal submittal due date from 11 Aug 2023 to 17 Aug 2023 has been issued and uploaded to "Attachments." No other changes. Project Scope: The project is located at the Hills Creek Dam in Lane County, Oregon. The objectives of the project are to remove the rock and vegetative debris from the spillway, install rock anchors and rockfall mesh on the slope above the spillway and repair damage to the concrete in the spillway as necessary. The slope above the spillway is steep and varies from approximately 60 to 140 feet in height. **REVISED** The Contractor is responsible for developing a plan to access the spillway. All material used to provide access will be removed from the site after construction. Contract Period of Performance: The estimated Period of Performance for this contract is Oct 2023 to March 2025. Magnitude of Construction: The estimated cost of the project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Socioeconomic Set-Aside: Other Than Full and Open Competition, 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $45M. Acquisition Strategy: The solicitation is a request for proposal (RFP). Best Value/Trade Off source selection process will be used in the evaluation of proposals. Evaluation criteria will be stated in the RFP. This acquisition will result in a single fixed-price contract. Site-Visit: An organized site visit has been scheduled for 24 July 2023, at 1030AM PST. Participants will meet at Hills Creek Dam, Oakridge, OR.
