This announcement is a Sources Sought Notice (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine interested parties, socioeconomic status availability, and capabilities. The Government intends to use responses to this sources sought notice to make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District's Vancouver Resident Office (VRO) is located in Vancouver, WA. The VRO uses a contractor for janitorial services in its Resident Office. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation, supervision, and equipment necessary to provide janitorial services in accordance with the draft performance work statement (PWS), which are attached to this notice. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District is seeking sources for Janitorial services at the VRO under NAICS Code 561720, Janitorial Services and the small business size is $22 million per year. The Government anticipates awarding One (1) Firm-Fixed Price - Services contract for a Base Period and Four (4) One Year Option Periods. The tentative Period of Performance is anticipated to be: Base Year: 01 October 2023 through 30 September 2024 Option Year 1: 01 October 2024 through 30 September 2025 Option Year 2: 01 October 2025 through 30 September 2026 Option Year 3: 01 October 2026 through 30 September 2027 Option Year 4: 01 October 2027 through 30 September 2028 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE 1. In the event that you are a small business, state the category of small business, such as 8(a), HUBZone, Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, or SDVOSB. 4. Statement of Capability (SOC) a. Statement of your skills, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type. b. Recent and relevant experience within the last five (5) years providing janitorial services for offices similar in scope and size to the attached draft PWS. The Government intends to advertise a solicitation for this project on or around 31 July 2023. At this time, a solicitation does not exist; therefore, offers shall not be accepted. It is the potential Offeror's responsibility to monitor SAM.Gov (www.SAM.Gov) for release of any future solicitation that may result from this Sources Sought Notice.
