COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION W9127N22Q0123 Thrust Bearing Oil Cooler Rehabilitation and Re-tubing of Spare Main Unit Thrust Bearing for John Day Dam U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, PORTLAND DISTRICT 5 August 2022 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W9127N22Q0123 is for performing rehabilitation of four (4) each finned heat exchangers used to cool thrust-bearing oil in hydroelectric General Electric turbine generators at The John Day Lock and Dam, Rufus, Oregon. The following solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), and the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06. This solicitation is advertised as a 100% Total Small Business set-aside under NAICS Code 332410 - Power Boiler and Heat Exchanger Manufacturing. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. Lack of active SAM registration will make an offeror ineligible for award. The Government requests pricing for the following schedule of items, in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW): 0001 : RE-TUBE & REFINISH THRUST BEARING OIL COOLER SET (1 JOB) 0002 (Option) OPTION: REPLACE DEFECTIVE HEADS IF NECESSARY (1 JOB) 0003 (Option) OPTION: FABRICATE NEW WOODEN CRATE IF NECESSARY (1 JOB) 0004 (Option) OPTION: RE-TUBE & REFINISH 2ND THRUST BEARING OIL COOLER SET (1 JOB) Period of Performance: The period of performance is 12 months in length. Supplies/Services will be inspected/accepted: All supplies and services will be inspected/accepted at Destination by Government. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. For offerors with a current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM), complete paragraph (b) of the provision and submit with the response to the RFQ.
