a. The contractor shall provide mobile crane and qualified operator necessary to perform movement of Government property as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract and comply with all Local, State, and Federal regulations during the services performed. b. This contract is for rental services of a mobile crane and qualified operator. Work will be performed at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Willamette Valley Project, Detroit Dam Roadway Deck located app. 45 miles East of Salem Oregon on Oregon State Hwy 22 in Marion County. c. Amount of days and equipment needed: Two (2) days of service with contractor provided crane and operator. Crane shall be capable of picking 8,000 pounds 110 feet over the downstream edge of the dam, down approximately 200 feet from the roadway. The maximum outrigger width and length, including cribbing and/or softeners, cannot exceed twentyfour feet (24’). Outriggers cannot be placed on the sidewalks. The crane must have load charts for outrigger straight down/retracted, mid-extend , and full-extend. If alternate outrigger locations are used, the lift plan must incorporate the locations. At a minimum, a 100-120 ton All Terrain or Truck Mounted crane shall be provided for this project. Contractor shall be responsible to verify crane adequacy and provide lift plan. Crane placement will be vetted by USACE structural team for suitability. d. The period of performance ‘window’ shall be during 26 September through 14 October 2022 . The Government will notify and determine specific dates with the contractor 14 days prior to commencement of work. e. This Project shall include all costs associated with Crane Work and Operator services as provided in Section 5 of this PWS, and be inclusive of the Crane Rental, Mobilization, Demobilization, Travel, all ODOT permits and ancillary transportation requirements.
