THIS IS A SOLICITATION FOR THE "ROGUE RIVER MECHANICAL DREDGING 2022" The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, has a requirement to perform dredging of the Rogue River entrance channel, boat basin access channel, and advanced maintenance dredging of a gravel bar outside of the federal navigation channel that is encroaching on the boat basin access channel. Please see the attached solicitation for details on the specifications of the requirement. The scope of this project consists of the Contractor furnishing all supervision, engineering, labor, materials, and equipment to perform the following work in strict accordance with the detailed requirements of this contract. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: The estimated cost of the project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 Bid Period: The Solicitation was released 28 January 2022. This d... Rogue River Mechanical Dredging 2022 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Portland District intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) NO. W9127N22B0004 for Rogue River Mechanical Dredging 2022. This dredging project includes work near Gold Beach, Oregon. Mechanical dredging is required by this contract. Material placement will be in a designated ocean disposal site. Approximately 340,000 cubic yards will be dredged as a mandatory line item, with additional optional items of 20,000 cubic yards depending on project needs and funding availability. Review the attached DRAFT project plans and specifications for additional information. The Government would appreciate any feedback on the DRAFT documents. USACE intends to host a 2nd meeting on 28 January 2022 to openly share information and discuss the project and assumptions prior to the solicitation being issued. This is the second of two planned pre-solicitation calls scheduled for this contract. The forthcoming solicitation is subject to the availability of funds. The draft plans and specifications are attached to assist in the discussion on January 28th and are subject to change prior to solicitation issuance. The in-water work window for Rogue River is June 2022 to October 2022. Water Quality monitoring will be required in accordance with the current water quality certificates. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 3 February 2022 with bids due 30 days after advertisement. This procurement is anticipated to be solicited allowing for full and open competition (unrestricted) and is open to both small and large business concerns. A small business subcontracting plan will be required for large businesses. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. The small business size standard is $30 million. The magnitude of construction is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. A 2nd pre-solicitation conference is scheduled for 28 January 2022 at 2:00 pm PST via Webex teleconference.
