STATEMENT OF WORK Ecology Blocks Scope: This scope of work (SOW) covers the purchase of Ecology Blocks Background: Ecology blocks are commonly used as barriers, erosion control, and foundation support for the US Army Corps of Engineers. These blocks can be placed together permanently or pieced together temporarily which gives the COE flexibility and a multi-use approach when using them to address the COE mission when utilizing these blocks for various projects. Justification: The ecology blocks are currently being planned to be placed at the base of slopes that are above project infrastructure and where project personnel travel. We are concerned rocks can come down those slopes and limit access to our facilities, represent safety hazards to Corps equipment, vehicles, and people. Requirements: Purchase of 500 ecology blocks at two different projects Big Cliff 200 Ea Cougar 300 Ea The specs for these blocks are: ---- “Concrete Ecology Blocks” ---- Stackable w method to interlock ---- 30” X 30” X 60” ---- 4,200 LBS ----lifting point for installation eye hook or u bolt embedded in the blocks Shipping Blocks shall be delivered to: Cougar Boneyard, Cougar Dam, Blue River, OR 97413 Big Cliff Project Yard, Big Cliff Dam, Gates, OR 97346
