HATCHERY TROUT PRODUCTION Solicitation Number: W9127N21R0034 Agency: Department of the Army Office: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Location: USACE District, Portland Classification Code: 8820 – Live Animals, Not Raised for Food NAICS Code: 112511 Finfish Farming and Hatcheries Size Standard: $1,000,000.00 Solicitation Number: W9127N21R0034 Notice Type: Presolicitation Synopsis: This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 “Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions.” The Army Corps of Engineers intends to solicit firms that are interested in submitting a competitive, firm-fixed price proposal for the supply of hatchery trout and the transportation/release of those trout within the Willamette River Basin. Description: The requirement is for the supply, transport and delivery of hatchery Triploid Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Work will consist of transport and release of trout to meet government mitigation goals. The trout will be transported and released into rivers, streams and standing water bodies in the Willamette River Basin; production and stocking of hatchery trout to meet Government mitigation in accordance with Hatchery Genetic Management Plans (HGMPs), and local, state and federal regulations. Acquisition Strategy: The solicitation will be a request for quote (RFQ). Evaluation criteria will be stated in the RFQ. This action will result in a single, firm-fixed price Purchase Order (PO) consisting of a delivery schedule. The anticipated PO covers the following CLIN delivery schedules over multiple locations in the Willamette River Basin: Base: 2023 Deliveries Quantity Option 1: 2024 Deliveries Quantity Option 2: 2025 Deliveries Set Aside: This RFQ will be an unrestricted, full and open solicitation. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available. The solicitation is anticipated to be posted on the website at https://sam.gov/ on, or around, 9 August 2021. Registration: Any prospective offeror must first register in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/. After completing the SAM registration, interested contractors and their subcontractors must then register at the aforementioned website in order to obtain solicitation documents, plans and or specifications for this solicitation. It is the contractor’s responsibility to monitor SAM.gov for any amendments.
