This is a REQUEST FOR INTERESTED BIDDERS and is for informational/market research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID, NOR A SYNOPSIS OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION UNDER FAR SUBPART 5.2. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Portland District (NWP) is conducting market research for future Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Facility Construction requirements. In the next several years it is anticipated that NWP will issue multiple solicitations for VA medical center construction projects in Oregon, including the Portland VA Medical Center and the Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics in White City, OR (near Medford). This research is being conducted to become familiarized with the capabilities of the local small business (SB) construction community. This information is critical in making acquisition decisions for potential set-asides and in establishing sub-contracting goals. To that end, responses should be from both anticipated SB prime and subcontractor vendors. The potential construction scope for these projects vary in complexity, size and budget. The information received from this survey will enable NWP to make informed decisions about socio-economic set-asides for construction services. It is imperative that survey responses include the requested information to fully assess the capabilities of the responding SB firm.
