Elevator and escalator services are for the monthly inspections and maintenance of 20 elevators/escalators and all necessary work performed relative to cleaning, lubrication, adjustment and calibration of the equipment where applicable to return each elevator to the specified condition. Inspection schedules include monthly, annual, every two-year, and five-year inspections. Maintenance services shall be in compliance with American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, ASME 17.1, Oregon Elevator Specialty Code (OAR 918-400-0455 and 918-400-0458), and Washington Administrative Code (WAC 296-96-00500), as well as the manufacturer’s recommendations and other applicable laws, regulations, rules, ordinances, codes. Contract type: This RFQ will result in a firm fixed price commercial, performance-based servicecontract. The Government will include options in the contract. Set Aside and Codes: This is an unrestricted, full and open acquisition. This effort is classified through the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) under code 811310 – Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment ($8M). The FSC is J035 – Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Service and Trade Equipment. All contractors are required to be register and maintain an active SAM entity registration in order to be eligible for contract awards, as prescribed by the regulation at FAR Subpart 4.11. In order to eligible for the contract award resulting from this solicitation, Offerors are advised to take immediate action to ensure your SAM entity registration is current and/or will be current at the time of proposal receipt by this contracting office.
