The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Portland District intends to issue a firm-fixed price (FFP), Invitation for Bids (IFB) No. W9127N20B0006 for West Coast Hopper Dredging 2021. This dredging project includes hopper dredging work at four locations, to include San Francisco Mainship Channel (MSC) and the Humboldt Bay Bar and Entrance (HUM), California; as well as the Mouth of the Columbia River (MCR) an the Lower Columbia River (LCR), in Oregon and Washington. The solicitation is subject to the availability of funds. Placement of dredged material will be located at designated in-water placement sites, including ocean and river disposal. Dredging will occur in Washington, California, and Oregon. Water quality monitoring will be required in accordance with the current water quality certificates. The Contractor can start work and as early as 15 June 2021 for LCR areas, and as early as 15 July 2021 for MSC and Ocean Beach. Anticipated required completion date of approximately December 15, 2021. The solicitation will be available for download on 18-19 February 2021 with bids due approximately 30 days after advertising. This is an unrestricted procurement, solicited under full and open competition and is open to both small and large business concerns.
