The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Portland District intends to issue an Request for Proposals (RFP) No. W9127N20R0024 for Dredge Essayons OSDP Pump Motor Overhaul. The scope of work for this project is... The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Portland District intends to issue an Request for Proposals (RFP) No. W9127N20R0024 for Dredge Essayons OSDP Pump Motor Overhaul. The scope of work for this project is for the overhaul of one Over Side Dredge Pump Motor (OSDP Motor) that has been found to have excess wear in the bearings. The Solicitation will be advertised for full and open competition within a limited geographic area of 200 miles from Portland OR. The oversight required during the disassembly, reconditioning, and reassembly will require numerous visits by the USACE surveillance team. The contractor is to arrange delivery of motor from the warehouse to Contractor facility. Upon completion of overhaul arrange delivery of motor from Contractor facility to USACE US Moorings 8010 NW St Helens. A crane of sufficient capacity will be required and provided by the Contractor to unload the motor at the US Moorings. The contractor shall recondition the motor. This will include but not limit to disassemble the motor, inspect and record conditions, steam clean paint and rewind motor. Upon completion the contractor shall perform a meggar test and record incoming and outgoing reading, Nitrogen or dry air pressure test to prove seals, Final TIR prior to shipping from Contractor's facility. The solicitation will be available for approximately 30 days after advertise. This is an unrestricted procurement, solicited under full and open competition and is open to both small and large business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336611.
