This is an amendment to extend the original solicitation's offers due date from 28 September 2020 at 12:00 PM Pacific to 29 September 2020 at 12:00 PM Pacific. No other changes are made or implied. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07. This is a Request for Quotation for a firm fixed price (FFP), commercial service procurement to refurbish one (1) ABB (Brand Name) 5 GHK 250 XP Medium Voltage Circuit Breaker (XP Breaker) in support of The John Day Dam Project. Satisfactory completion of this work requires that parts be furnished and installed per factory procedures to restore the XP Breaker to original factory performance standards as verified by testing performed in accordance with the manufacturers operation and maintenance manual (IB 6.2.9.1F “Installation/Maintenance Instructions SF6 Gas Power Circuit Breakers”). This solicitation is set aside for 100% Small Business under the NAICS Code of 811310 – Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. Lack of SAM registration will make an offeror ineligible for award. The Government anticipates awarding one (1) firm-fixed price commercial service purchase order.
