The objective of this solicitation is to have downed trees and stumps removed, hazardous trees removed, hazardous limbs trimmed for safety, trees thinned as appropriate and limb debris cleaned and chipped for safe public use. At specified locations grind stumps on removals. Topsoil will be placed in the stump voids and graded to ground level. Areas may include parks, campgrounds, or natural areas. All Hazard Tree Removal are performed in a manner that will maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance of recreation areas as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Hazard Tree Removal services shall preserve the facilities, infrastructure, and vegetation in a manner that maximizes facility use. The Hazard Tree Removal services shall allow the Government to perform its duty to provide a safe work environment for its personnel and the public, which includes their safety, wellbeing, health, and welfare.
