The US Army Corp of Engineers, Portland District, 333 SW 1st Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97204 is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Gate Attendant "A" Services at the Plymouth/Paradise Park. The solicitation is offered to small businesses under NAICS 721211. The Government anticipates awarding One (1) Firm-Fixed Price – Services contract for a Base Year Period and Two (2) One Year Option Periods. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Gate Attendant Services as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the Gate Attendant. There is One (1) Gate Attendant position that shall be open for bid. This position requires Two (2) individuals working as a team. Duty days are five days on five days off alternating with Plymouth/Paradise Park Gate Attendant "B". The Contractor duties include, but are not limited to, working in the gate house maintaining current records, posting reserved sites, checking site availability, processing camper registrations and receiving daily arrival reports, collecting fees, depositing fees at the bank, and grounds surveillance. Contractors must be professional, courteous, diplomatic, tactful and not discriminatory. For further information, please refer to the PWS within the solicitation. Plymouth is located about 30 miles south of Kennewick, Washington on the Columbia River near Plymouth, Washington (population about 200). There is a post office, but no stores at this time in the town of Plymouth. Umatilla, Oregon (population about 7,010) is less than 5 miles from Plymouth Park. Paradise Park is located about 3 miles west of Plymouth. The surrounding environment and area is similar to that of Plymouth. There is one large group campsite, one vault toilet, and river access.
