This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W9127N20Q0015 for procurement of four (4) each mooring lines for the dredge vessel Essayons is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (Quote). The USACE, Portland District’s dredge vessel Essayons needs to purchase four new six hundred foot mooring lines with four foot covered eyes. The lines must be light weight, high strength, floating rope. Please see the below product description for design requirements. The following solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-98. This solicitation is advertised as a total small business set-aside under NAICS Code 314994-Rope, Cordage, Twine, Tire Cord, and Tire Fabric Mills, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. Lack of SAM registration will make an offeror ineligible for award.
