Oregon / Washington Clamshell Maintenance Dredging 2020 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Portland District intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Oregon / Washington Clamshell Maintenance Dredging 2020. The dredging project includes work at seven locations, four in Oregon (Chetco River, Rogue River, Port Orford, and Charleston Harbor) and three in Washington (Baker Bay, Chinook, and Longview). A clamshell dredge is required on this contract. All placement sites are in-water. Approximately 166,500 cubic yards will be dredged as a mandatory line item, with additional 147,000 cubic yards in optional line items depending on project needs and funding availability. This solicitation is subject to the availability of funds. The total anticipated cubic yardage per project is: Chetco River: 10,000 CY (Base) Rogue River: 30,000 CY (Option) & 30,000 CY (Option) Port Orford: 15,000 CY (Base) & 10,000 CY (Option) Charleston Harbor: 10,000 CY (Base) Baker Bay: 40,000 CY (Base) & 10,000 CY (Option) & 12,000 CY (Option) Chinook: 90,000 CY (Base) & 20,000 CY (Option) & 20,000 CY (Option) Longview Turning Basin: 1,500 CY (Base) Port Of Longview Terminal: 15,000 CY (Option) The environmental in-water work windows are: Chetco River: July 15 through October 31. Rogue River: June 15 through October 31 Port Orford: May 1 through October 31 Charleston Harbor: July 1 through November 30 Baker Bay: August 1 through December 15 Chinook: August 1 through December 15 Longview Turning Basin: 1 June through 15 December (Work must be concurrent with Port of Longview Terminal Work if awarded) Port Of Longview Terminal: 1 October to 15 December Water Quality monitoring will be required in accordance with the current water quality certificates. Estimated project depths will be determined in the solicitation and payment method will be by pre-post survey. Contract award is anticipated in late-June. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. The small business size standard is $30 million.
