General: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Northwestern Division, Portland District (CENWP) has been tasked to solicit a contract for the fabrication of nine main unit coolers, three station coolers, and includes providing drawings of the fabricated coolers. The new coolers must be essentially identical to the existing coolers located at The Dalles Dam. The Government intends to furnish 1 each of the coolers as a reference for reverse engineering purposes. The proposed project is a competitive, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract.
