These items are used to gather data, process and control Main Unit Generators and ancillary equipment in Hydroelectric Powerhouses. SoftPLC controllers are only offered by SoftPLC Corporation. The developed software base of Generator Data Acquisition and Control system (GDACS) is customized to SoftPLC controllers. Other vendor's controllers are not compatible and would require extensive reprogramming of GDACS that is not required with SoftPLC controllers. By your response this will determine if this purchase is still a sole source or can be acquired through a vendor in CHESS. Reference the attached determination. Reference the "Instructions to Offeror" within the solicitation for submission instructions.
