A firm-fixed priced contract shall be awarded by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, 333 SW 1st Avenue, Portland, OR 97204. The intent of this Request for quote (RFQ) is to purchase one new, double action, hydraulic cylinder, to replace an original culvert tainter valve cylinder at The Dalles navigation lock. The hydraulic cylinder shall be fabricated as a direct replacement for existing cylinders, though not necessarily an identical design. The contractor shall provide operation and maintenance manuals, including parts breakdown and as-built drawings upon product delivery. All furnished components shall be new and conform in strength, quality of material, workmanship, and sound engineering standards. See Contract Line Item (CLIN) for further details. Cost for Shipping FOB destination must be included in the offered price. Reference the "Instructions to Offeror" within the solicitation for submission instructions.
