Synopsis: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District intends to solicit a firm-fixed-price commercial services contract for Fire Suppression Maintenance Services at Bonneville Lock & Dam in Skamania County, Washington and Multnomah County, Oregon. This is a non-personal, services contract to provide full maintenance services for Bonneville Lock and Dam's Fire Suppression Equipment. The Contractor shall provide all services, repairs, inspections, and testing necessary to maintain all fire extinguishing equipment along with medical stations to ensure their operability and readiness in the event of an emergency. This contract duration is intended to be a base year plus two option years. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be: Base Year: 01 July 2019 through 30 June 2020 Option Year 1: 01 July 2020 through 30 June 2021 Option Year 2: 01 July 2021 through 30 June 2022 This acquisition is intended to be Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this effort is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance, which has a small business size standard of $7,500,000. The Product Service Code (PSC) applicable to this effort J012 - Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment - Fire Control Equipment. Evaluation criteria will be stated in the solicitation. This acquisition will result in a single firm-fixed-price commercial services contract. Proposal Period: The solicitation is scheduled for release on or after 22 May 2019. The tentative date for receipt of proposals is on or after 6 June 2019. Due to the commercial nature of the services, the publicizing and response time will be set to afford potential offers a reasonable opportunity to respond in accordance with FAR subpart 5.203. Offerors must be registered in the SAM at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ prior to receiving an award.
