Notice ID:W9127827RA008

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, is conducting market research via a Sources Sought Synopsis—not a solicitation—to identify qualified Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-owned, and Women-owned Small Business firms under NAICS 237990. The anticipated requirement is a firm-fixed-price construction contract for structural concrete and gate repairs on the spillway at the Carters Reregulation Dam in Chatsworth, Georgia, addressing concrete expansion from Alkali-Silica Reactivity. Scope includes pier stoplog slot demolition, new steel stoplog guides and embedded seal plates, shrinkage-compensating concrete placement, side seal plate recessing, and seal replacement on four Tainter gates and eight stop logs, with the contractor responsible for design, fabrication, and installation of temporary dewatering structures/cofferdams and gate shoring. Construction must proceed sequentially with only one gate bay dewatered and out of service at a time. The estimated construction magnitude is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000, with an anticipated performance period of approximately 180 calendar days.
