Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make acquisition planning decisions for the work described above. The attachments to this notice are for information only. INDUSTRY DAY NOTIFICATION The industry day will be hosted on March 26, 2024 at 9:00am Central at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Readiness Support Center (201 Saint Michael Street Mobile, AL 36602) Holt Lock Monolith R14 Restoration The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mobile District, will be conducting an industry day to inform contractors of the construction contract for Holt Lock Monolith R14 Restoration. The objective of this project is to restore the structural integrity of Holt Lock Monolith 14R using post-stressed anchors and filling crack defects. The Contractor is to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform horizontal drilling, installing horizontal post tension anchor bars, internal pressure grouting, epoxy injection of surface cracks, installing internal and external water stops, underwater concrete placement, and dewatering the lock chamber at Holt Lock. The industry day event will be held from 0900 – 1700 CST on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Readiness Support Center. The meeting will consist of a general session with a presentation on the overview of Holt Lock Monolith R14 Restoration , selection criteria, and project schedule followed by open discussion/feedback. Additionally, individual 30-minute break out sessions will be held, at the request of the contractor, starting at 1215. Contractor comments and suggestions are strongly encouraged. The government is specifically interested in contractor feedback on the plans and specifications. The contract will be a firm fixed price, best value, “C” type award. If no contractors respond Industry Day will be canceled.
