Sources Sought Number: W91278-24-L-0022 Classification: It And Telecom - Business Application/Application Development Support Services NACIS: 334514 Totalizing Fluid Meter and Counting Device Manufacturing 15 Days Subject: Automated Fee Machines for Allatoona Lake, Cartersville, GA Market Research and Sources Sought Notice for information on capability and availability of potential contractors interested in proposing on a Firm Fixed Price Contract to operate VenTek M600 automated fee machines (AFM) for use at Allatoona Lake in Cartersville, GA. Visitors are required to pay a day user and/or camping fee. Visitors shall be able to pay by credit or debit card at the AFM. General Operation: 1. Capable of accepting credit and debit cards. 2. Shall be capable of printing thermal receipts that will remain legible to 170 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 48 hours for patrons to display for enforcement purposes. 3. Shall provide a paper audit trail, supported by and electronic record for all transactions. Capable of using battery back up to power the system in the event of a loss of the primary A/C power source. 4. Supported by software applications allowing user manipulation of rate structure, system configuration and transaction recording from a local or remote site. General Specifications: 1. Provide software service to communicate with and operate VenTek M600 AFM via cellular service. 2. Read all major credit cards to include VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. 3. Be compliant with Federal EMV regulations. 4. Shall provide connectivity services, as well as complete programming, installation and training for personal upkeep and usage of the M600 AFM. 5. Shall provide technical support, machine maintenance/troubleshooting, and notify the Government of any updates via email and/or telephone. 6. Provide six (6), nine (9), and/or twelve (12) months performance period of service for minimum of forty-two M600 AFM. Installation: 1. Vendor shall conduct tests onsite or remotely to ensure software service is working properly. Deviation from original specs: 1. Any deviations by either the Corps of Engineers or the vendor will be followed up by email or fax to confirm the change and assure that both parties are in agreement and understand the changes. This is a Market Research and Sources Sought Notice only. No award will result from this Sources Sought Notice. There is no solicitation available at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and its supplements. It is the contractor’s responsibility to monitor the Government Point of Entry for the release of any solicitation. This Sources Sought Notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mobile District to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Neither unsolicited proposals nor other kinds of offers will be considered in response to this Sources Sought Notice. This Source Sought Notice does not create an obligation on behalf of the Government to make an award of any contract pursuant to this announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine the availability of qualified contractors to perform these services and to determine socioeconomic classifications (Large Business, Small Business, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Women Owned Small Businesses, etc.) associated with each. The primary North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 332312, the small business size standard for which is 500 employees. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used by the government in making appropriate acquisition decisions. RESPONSE INSTRUCTIONS Responses are requested with the following information: 1. Contractor’s name, address, points of contact with telephone numbers and e-mail addresses. 2. Business size/classification (to include any designations such as Large Business, Small Business, HUBZone, Section 8(a) contractor, Service-Disabled Veteran owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women Owned Small Business, etc.) shall be indicated on first page of submission. 3. Contractor shall identify the percentage of services provided in the commercial marketplace and the percentage of services provided to government agencies. 4. Documentation should be submitted with the following considerations: Describe your capability and experience to design, coordinate, fabricate and deliver the FRP Pultruded part and associated framing components in accordance with plans and specifications similar to the concept part provided for government reception. The above requested information shall not exceed a total of five (5) pages in 8.5" x 11" format (Times New Roman, 12 point, single-spaced, 1” margins). Please do not provide standard marketing brochures or catalogs. Responses will be evaluated on the basis of demonstrated functional capability.
