The solicitation package will be available for download on or about August 08, 2022. Furnish all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the fabrication and delivery of Stennis Spillway Gate #2 for John C. Stennis Lock and Dam on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway near Columbus, MS. The Contractor shall be responsible for all planning, supervision, labor, plant, equipment, materials, supplies and all other things necessary for the fabrication and delivery of the gate. The gate is approximately 60’ wide and 29’ tall. The approximate weight of the gate is 180,000 pounds. The gate shall be delivered in one piece; field assembly to facilitate delivery will not be accepted. The gate is to be delivered in one shipment via barge to the John C. Stennis Lock and Dam. The Government will off-load the gate at Stennis Lock. The requirement will include a set of trunnion shoes for the new gate along with associated incidentals. Details will be included in the drawings. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS Code applicable to this requirement is 332312, the small business size standard for which is 500 employees. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest.
