Subject: Provide Law Enforcement Services for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Black Warrior and Tombigbee Lakes, Holt Resource Office Tuscaloosa County Alabama. Description: The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Department, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). USACE Mobile District has a requirement for Law Enforcement Services at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operated and maintained areas on Oliver and Holt Lakes, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. USACE Mobile intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Law Enforcement Services, which are available from the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. USACE Mobile District, has determined that Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Department is the primary law enforcement agency within Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. They are the only source available that would be able to provide both Alabama certified uniformed officers and marked vehicles in the areas of the BWT, Oliver and Holt Lakes in Tuscaloosa County. It is anticipated that a Fixed Price contract will be awarded. The NAICS code is 561612, the small business standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates whose average annual gross revenues does not exceed $22M. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement; however, this notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. All capability statements received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this notice will be reviewed by the Government and considered. The deadline date is 14 May, 2020. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
