Furnish all planning, supervision, labor, equipment, material, supplies, replacement parts, and all things necessary for the Operation and Maintenance of Walter F. George & George W. Andrews Lake, Fort Gaines, Georgia. The Project is located on the Chattahoochee River between river mile markers 46 and 155 and is part of the Apalachicola, Chattahoochee and Flint River Project. The Project is geographically spread out over several counties, which including Early, Randolph, Clay, Quitman, Chattahoochee, Stewart, and Muscogee counties in Georgia, and Houston, Henry, Barbour, and Russell counties in Alabama. This project is over 114 miles long with over 51,000 acres of project lands and 39 different recreation areas. The project operates 5 campgrounds, 14 day use parks, 3 developed public beaches, 15 boat ramps, Power Plant, Lock and Dam, Spillway and the Resource Management Office. The Project leases property for 3 State Parks, 12 day use parks, 3 developed public beaches, and 12 boat ramps and one commercial marina. It is anticipated that a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract with Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) will be awarded for a base and four one-year options. The solicitation package will be available for download on or about 20 May 2019. In general (not all inclusive), work will include the following types of work: maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, offices, water and electrical systems, concrete structures, maintenance facilities, operational areas, roadways, vehicles, boat docks, bathhouses, washhouses, toilets, gatehouses, security fences, sanitary disposal systems, launching ramps, playground equipment, bulletin boards, game courts, playgrounds, telephone lines, picnic sites, campsites, and other related facilities. Work required to perform this type maintenance includes carpentry, masonry, electrical, electronics, mechanical, structural, plumbing, chipping, caulking, sealing, cleaning, welding and replacing parts or equipment. Additional maintenance work includes guardrails, gates, signs, bumper blocks, landscaped areas, beaches, navigation or swimming buoys, paved roads, parking lots, trails, navigation aids, courtesy docks, and boundary lines. Services to be performed include general maintenance, cleaning, custodial service, garbage removal, grass mowing, overlook clearing, debris removal, operation of visitor centers, repair to riprap slopes, repair to earthen slopes, excavation, wildlife openings, and storage and disposal of hazardous and/or toxic materials. The project is used for flood damage reduction, recreation, hydroelectric power generation, and wildlife management. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates whose average annual gross revenue does not exceed $38,500,000.00 for the past three (3) years under NAICS 561210.
