Subject: Testing and Repair of Hydroelectric Generator Static Excitation Systems at Hydroelectric Facilities for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers within the South Atlantic Division Text: The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Prime Power Services, Inc., 8225 Troon Cir. Austell, GA 30168-78855 under authority of FAR 6.302-1. USACE Mobile District has a requirement for the repair of deteriorated and/or failed excitation systems at hydroelectric facilities for the USACE locations within SAD. As the original equipment manufacturer, Prime Power Service, Inc. possesses all the propriety design drawings, data and information related to the excitation system at the hydroelectric facilities listed in the Attachment Prime Power Services, Inc. Furthermore, Prime Power Services, Inc. has in-depth knowledge, experience and expertise of how each component functions within the overall system, how the components are installed and how to best repair a failed component. It is anticipated that a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Requirements Contract will be awarded. The NAICS Code is 335312 and the size standard is 1250 employees. Interest persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements; however, this notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. All capability statements received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this notice will be reviewed by the government and considered. The notice publication date is 4 September 2019 and the deadline date is 19 September 2019. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
