FedBizOps Posting - Request For Proposal Solicitation Number: Agency: Department of the Army Office: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Location: U.S. Army Engineer District Mobile Category X (Lease or rental of facilities), NAICS Code 531120 Synopsis: The Department of the Army seeks to lease approximately 30,000 square feet of usable contiguous office space in Huntsville, Alabama for the Missile Defense Agency. Requested space must be fully serviced and in a building that can be customized to meet the Government's needs and security requirements. This (new or existing) building must meet Federal Government standards for fire safety, energy star compliant, and must be ADA compliant and be located outside a 100 year floodplain. The facility must meet current DoD Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection requirements. Facility must consist of an open floor plan to accommodate office cubicles. In addition, the administrative facility should also have several closed wall offices, conference rooms with video teleconferencing capability and telephony connectivity and dispersed business centers. Leasing Facility must be able to meet option 1 or option 2 below: Option 1: Add an option for approximately 5,000 NSF additional space for a total of approximately 35,000 NSF Option 2: Add an option for approximately 10,000 NSF additional space for a total of approximately 40,000 NSF DELINEATED AREA: The administrative facility should be located within a 10-mile radius of Gate 9 at Redstone Arsenal. LEASE TERM: The lease term is one (1) year firm term, with nine (9) option years. Rentable square feet available and the expected rental rate per rental square foot, fully serviced. 3. Date of space availability. 4. Building ownership information. 5. Amount of parking available on site. 6. One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered. 7. Name, address, telephone number, and email address of authorized contact. 8.
