The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District intends to publish a solicitation for the following brand name aquatic herbicides: Aquathol K, containing the active ingredient Endothall and Clipper, containing the active ingredient Flumioxazin for the Walter F. George and Seminole Sites. This announcement is consistent with the terms identified in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(c), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for bids. Written notification and supporting information regarding the availability of other aquatic herbicide(s) containing the above-mentioned active ingredients must be submitted via email to helene.s.mitchell@usace.army.mil by 10:00am central time, April 15, 2019. If no affirmative documentation is received, the Mobile District will proceed with soliciting for the brand name aquatic herbicides. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on brand name or equal criteria.
