The government is conducting market research for construction of an approximately 8,000 SF drive-through non-destructive testing (NDT) maintenance shop at Red River Army Depot, Texas, for tactical vehicles, combat vehicles, and components. The facility will include radiation protective shielding for existing x-ray equipment, support system upgrades, and consolidate or expand NDT capabilities including ultrasonic, dye penetrant, magnetic particle inspection, and laser scanning; the existing x-ray facility will be demolished. The estimated target price range is $8,000,000 to $8,500,000, with a construction cost limit of $8,175,103.00 and a programmed amount of $8,100,000. Award is anticipated in FY27.
