The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Southwest Fort Worth (USACE – SWF) District Office has a requirement from the City of Wharton, TX to provide construction of a new flood risk mitigation levee system along the Colorado River in Wharton, TX. The project consists of constructing a levee system with approximately 12,350 feet of earthen levees with an average height of 8 feet (elevation ~ 112.5 feet) with an approximate 80-foot-wide levee base (4:1 slope) along the northern Colorado River bank. The levees will have five interior drainage sumps to include approximately 20,150 square yards (SY) of wetland mitigation to collect and mitigate interior drainage from inside the City of Wharton. A drainage system will be installed along/below Hughes Street to facilitate interior drainage. This project will also involve demolition and excavation to install box culverts and repair of pavement and sidewalks. The base work includes mobilization/ demobilization and construction of all work for the Colorado River Levee Reaches 1 through 4. All offerors are advised that this project may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, and/or final award process. Set-Aside: Unrestricted Construction of Magnitude: Between $25M - $100M Period of Performance: Approx. 540 Calendar Days NOTE: The Government intend to distribute the solicitation approximately the week of 10-JAN-2023 with a projected site visit for 17-JAN-2023. Please NOTE this solicitation requires offerors to enter a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) score in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) prior to responding to this solicitation, https://piee.eb.mil/piee-landing/. The NIST score is a responsiveness item. Bids/offers from contractors with a NIST score in SPRS will be considered responsive and evaluated/considered for award. Those without a NIST score in SPRS will be deemed NON-RESPONSIVE and thus not evaluated/considered for award.
