GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK The scope of the project includes all work required for design and construction of the Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility (TEMF) Renovations, Bldg. 9112, Fort Hood, Texas. The work shall be in accordance with the Request for Proposal documents. The proposed project will be an Small Business Set-Aside competitive, firm-fixed price, contract procured in accordance with FAR 15.101, Negotiated Procurement using the “Tradeoff Process”.

Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility (TEMF) Building 9112, Fort Hood, Texas This is not a solicitation. A solicitation will be issued on/around 17 April 2020 and will use as a Two-Phase Design Build Process in accordance with FAR 36.3 -Two-Phase Design-Build Selection Procedures. This project is for the renovation of Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility (TEMF) 9112 and surrounding structures within the fence line on Fort Hood, TX. This project will replace the failing HVAC system, repair interior and exterior finishes impacted by moisture/high humidity, refinish floors in the maintenance bays and administrative areas, renovate the building’s interior and exteriors, provide a Standing Seam Metal Roof (SSMR), and installation of a 10-ton crane. Renovations shall increase the life expectancy of the Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility by 25-years. The Design-Build Contract will include both Design and Construction of the required renovation.
