Title: FY20 Road Repairs Classification Code: Y – Construction of Highways, roads, streets, bridges, and railways NAICS: 237310 – Heavy Construction Projects Is this a Recovery and Reinvestment Act Action?: No Response Date: Solicitation Number: W9126G20B0045 Agency: Department of the Army Office: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Location: U.S. Army Engineer District, Fort Worth Synopsis: This Solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) using the procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14 for road repairs in multiple locations spanning the counties of Dona Ana, Socorro, Sierra and Otero at White Sands Missile Range located in New Mexico to accomplish repairs to damaged and failed surfaces including subgrade and base course, installation of new seal coat, replacement of transportation signage, re-striping, bike lane striping and surface symbols and incidental related work. This announcement is restricted to Small Businesses (SB) only. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237310, Heavy Construction Projects Contractors, which has a size standard of $39,500,000 in average annual receipts. The IFB proposals will be due on or about 1 September, 2020. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded using Invitation for Bid procedures. Public bid opening procedures are applicable for this solicitation. Anticipated contract award date on or about 15 September, 2020. The wages and benefits of service employees (see FAR 22.10) performing under this contract must be at least equal to those determined by the Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act. “In an effort to reduce paperwork and cost, ALL proposals shall be submitted electronically via the DoD SAFE website at https://safe.apps.mil/. In order for an outside user (the offeror) to submit a proposal for the solicitation, they must receive a drop-off request from an inside user (the government). When the inside user generates a drop-off request for you, you will receive an email with a link to submit your drop-off. Optionally, the Government may provide you with a request code. In that case, click the Drop-off button on the SAFE home page and enter the Request code. To request and receive a drop-off for this solicitation, the offeror must email a request for a drop off request at least five (5) working days before the proposal due date.
