CONTRACT INFORMATION: This is an Invitiation for Bid (IFB) solicitation. This announcement is for a 100% small business set aside acquisition to renovate Buildings 1717 & 1735 at Fort Bliss, TX. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 236220, which has a size standard of $36.5 million. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded in September 2019. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/. No state level certifications will be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest, responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bid, will be the most advantageous to the government. Anticipated project completion date is 365 days from Notice to proceed. PROJECT INFORMATION: Construction range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. This contract is a Design Bid Build for renovation of Buildings 1717 & 1735 at FT. Bliss, TX. The objective of this project is to renovate Building 1717 at Fort Bliss, TX to provide administrative space with functional areas (e.g. physical exams) for the U.S. Army Support Soldier Readiness and Resiliency Center (SRRC). Building 1735 will serve as a meeting/conference/briefing area. Renovation portion of Building 1717 is a 61,000 gross square foot (GSF), one-story building with the north end having a second story section originally constructed in 1980. Originally built as a commissary, Building 1717 is now being used as a training, vendor, and issuing activities building. The broad view of the project is to renovate the building(s) for function areas such as rooms for physical exams, administrative space, in the first and second floors. Specific scope elements include: Architectural renovations to include: Exterior Walls, Windows, Doors, Roof Coverings and Openings, Interior Partitions, Doors, Fittings, Wall, Floor, Ceiling Finishes, Signage, Furnishing, and Equipment. Structural: New and existing partitions, roof, HVAC and FFE. Mechanical: Will provide HVAC, plumbing, drainage. Electrical/ Communication: Lightning protection system, Emergency Generation, Energy Efficient Lighting and Branch Wiring, Electrical service and Distribution, Communication: Voice/ Data, Security: Intrusion Detection System and Duress Alarm System Fire Protection: Fire Suppression System, Fire Detection, Fire Alarm and Signal, Mass Notification The Primary Point of Contract for this project is Eugene A.
