The project includes the design, engineering, and construction for the renovation of relocating the Box Shop equipment, tables and materials from Building 437 (7,500 sf) to the north bay of side of existing Building 593 (40,678 sf) with the demarcation line at the firewall. Originally constructed in 1942. Renovations will be done to make the space viable for the proposed project. The layout of the space is to provide a proposed new box shop with a personnel staff of 15. The Box Shop will have areas for lumber storage, table saws, worktables. A central circulation area will be formed for easy access for forklifts to transport lumber from storage to the saw tables. A jib crane will also be moved and located near the table saw areas. There will new restrooms, janitor closet, breakroom, offices, tool room, areas for bulk storage, waste acclamation and space for pallet racks.
