Sole Source Intent: The United States Army Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Mallory Engineering, Inc., 787 S. 950 W., Woods Cross, Utah 84087-2079 for support services for the climatic and rough handling facilities at the United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ 85365-9498. The climatic and rough handling facilities test chambers have been custom built by Mallory Engineering and integrated with computer control hardware and software upgrades. Mallory Engineering has performed upgrades and repairs on the government climatic facilities in the past and not just the custom mechanical system, but also the custom software applications and the computer control and the network connectivity requirements that are essential for accessing the test chambers through a VPN account that allows for remote monitoring capability. The NAICS Code that will be utilized for this requirement is NAICS Code 541512 - Computer Systems Design Services. The size standard for NAICS Code for 541512 is $27.5M. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed requirement.
