Sole Source Intent: The United States Army, Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Monaco Enterprises, Inc., 14820 East Sprague Avenue, Spokane, WA 99216-2191 for upgrades to the Monaco D-21 Emergency Alarm Receiving Equipment located in the Base Emergency Dispatch Center at the United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ 85365-9498. The Monaco D-21, receives signals from heat and smoke detection equipment alarm systems located within base facilities and transmit the signals to the Base Emergency Dispatch Center for the 911 operator to dispatch Fire and Police personnel to the area to resolve the emergency situation. The Monaco Enterprises, Inc. D-21 is a proprietary system and Monaco has previously performed all upgrades and repairs on the government D-21 System. The requirement will include upgrades to the WIN10 Server/Client Tower, WIN10 Server/Client Rack Mount, Kit Support: D-21 Diacap-able Site Upgrade, Kit, Support: D-21 Diacap-able CPU Configuration No Domain Controller, includes ancillary material/equipment and technical support/supervision. The NAICS Code that will be utilized for this requirement is NAICS Code 334290 - Other Communication Equipment Manufacturer. The size standard for NAICS Code for 334290 is 750 Employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed requirement.
