The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Yuma Proving Ground (YPG), Arizona, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with United States Department of The Army, Property Book Officer, Yuma A.Z., 85364-9498. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) has a requirement under purchase request 0011301655 MWR Meals Embraer 390 Airdrop Test. The USAYPG Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) is the only source capable of providing the required Meals in accordance with the Army Master Menu and at the remote location of USAYPG. MWR is the only authorized entity permitted to sell food at USAYPG. And the only source knowledgeable in the Army Regulations for the Daily Menu Standards and rations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 311991, “Perishable Prepared Food Manufacturing,” with a size standard of 500 employees was selected for the subject acquisition, as it relates to this requirement. Award for this requirement will be accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested person may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
