This is a Special Notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 5.207(c)(15), Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive Quotes. However, all interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. ACC-RSA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. The Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, has a sole source requirement for a VBS4 software Licenses, Blue IG Runtime Licenses, VBS IG SDK Licenses, VBS Simulation SDK Licenses, associated licenses, and support for Technology Development Directorate (TDD). The Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA) intends to award a contract to Bohemia Interactive under statutory authority as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. VBS4 and VBS Blue Image Generator (IG) products provide the best feature set needed for meeting the simulator requirements. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 513210. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the Government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 7 days after date of publication of this notice.
