NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A FIRM FIXED PRICE SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT- The Combat Capabilities Development Command intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Raytheon, 1010 Production Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46808 (CAGE 37695) for the purchase of the TacLink which Raytheon is hte sole manufacturer under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334111 and the Small Business size standard is 1,250 number of employees based on the U.S. Small Business Administration, Table of Small Business Size Standards. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1; Only One Responsible Source Has Been Identified As Reasonably Available To Provide The Supplies That Will Satisfy The Agency Requirements. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
