(only one responsible source) for the commer... NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A FIRM FIXED PRICE SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. ACC-RSA intends to solicit and award a sole-source contract (FAR 6.302-1) to ANSYS, Inc. (only one responsible source) for the commercial purchase of the renewal of the SCADE software. This is a sole source with ANYS under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quote (RFQ) No. W9124P-20-T-7002. In accordance with FAR 6.301-2 "Only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements." Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for the purpose of determining whetehr to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for the notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. ANSYS, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement for the renewal of SCADE software. The renewal of SCADE software supports the S3I UH60 Airworthiness program. Requirement is as follows: SCADE Software Purchase to support the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate (S3I) at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
