NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A FIRM FIXED PRICE SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as is supplemented with dditional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proporsals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ACC-RSA intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to VT Miltope, 3800 Richardson Rd. S., Hope Hull, AL 36043 for the purchase of 14 Miltope SRNC-17 G6X computers under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source. The Miltope SRNC-17 G6X computer specification sheet is attached. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1; Only One Responsible Source Has Been Identified As Reasonably Available To Provide The Supplies That Will Satisfy The Agency Requirements. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
