This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W9124P-20-Q-0013, is issued as a Request For Quotes (RFQ). The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. The requirement is 100% small business set aside and is concurred with the Office of Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 334516. The small business size standard is 1000. Description of the requirement is as follows: Solicitation Number W9124P-20-Q-0013, supply buy of one (1) 1064 Nanometer Solid State Laser. The Purchase Description is attached. The U.S. Army Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Activity intends to issue a firm fixed price contract. The Government intends to use the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12 in conjunction with those at FAR part 13 for this effort. The U.S. Army TMDE Activity, Redstone Arsenal, AL (Acceptance DODAAC: W80RA6) shall be responsible for the receiving, inspection and acceptance requirements of DFAS Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) for this requirement. Payment shall be made through WAWF, in Accordance with DFARS 252.232-7006. The solicitation requests the contract have a period of performance not to exceed 60 days after receipt of the signed contract. Earlier delivery is desired if at no additional cost to the government. Request for Information Requiring Activity: U.S Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA) PAN NUMBER: USATA NG-W80RA6-22-20C; UPR 2069 NAICS: 334516 NOTICE TYPE: Sources Sought/Request for Information SYNOPSIS: The Army Contracting Command - Redstone, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898 on behalf of the U.S. Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA) hereby issues the following Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) to ascertain the level of interest of potential vendors desiring to contract for procurement of: (1)1064 Nanometer Solid State Laser Minimum Technical Specifications •Laser must have power of 25 watts, wavelength of 1064nm, and beam mode of TEM00 •Laser must have a quality of M2<1.3 and an active stability system that will keep shortterm laser stability at <0.06%. •Laser must have a linear horizontal polarization, with an extinction ratio of 100/1 orgreater. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY – This RFI is released pursuant to FAR 15.201(e). It is issued solely for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.
