The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone, Operations and Weapons Services Directorate, Base Operations Division A intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a sole source bridge contract for the continuation of Installation Support Services (ISS) for the U.S. Army Garrison - Redstone (USAG-R) Department of Public Works (DPW) servicing all of Redstone Arsenal. This is a notice of the Government intent to negotiate and award a sole source hybrid Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) performance-based service contract covering a One Year Bridge and Two 6-Month Options under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Full performance of all required services will commence on 1 June 2019 and will end no later than 31 May 2021. This Bridge will provide continuity of mission essential for ISS at Redstone Arsenal, AL while the follow-on competitive procurement is being completed. The services that will be provided under the ISS contract include mail distribution, environmental restoration, pollution control and compliance services, landfill operations; maintenance and operation of water, waste water, steam, gas, and electrical utility services; engineering and work management services; and maintenance, preventative maintenance, and service orders for facilities, utilities, and infrastructure.
