This is a base-plus-four contract to maintain, inspect, and test fire extinguishers across multiple buildings at Hunter Army Airfield, GA, per the attached PWS. Work must follow NFPA 10, AR 420-5, and OSHA, with quarterly dispatches to inspect and remediate 100% of inventory extinguishers and correct deficiencies within 5 business days. Required periodic maintenance includes annual inspections, 5/6-year maintenance depending on extinguisher type, and 10/12-year hydrostatic testing, including initial inspections for new extinguishers and disassembly/emptying/servicing for 5/6-year maintenance. Hydrostatic testing adds structural testing for cylinder integrity, and service generally must be performed within 14 days unless otherwise agreed by the unit POC, contracting officer, and contractor. If a unit deploys, the Government will not pay for unused quarterly services, the COR will notify in writing, and the contractor must cease billing for that unit during the deployment period.
