188th IN BDE requires the capability to store and transport 450 bags of ice at a single time (estimated 7200 lbs) during field event to occur from 01JUN to 30JUN2023 to support the operating requirements for 5600 personnel. The unit requires the capability of establishing ice distribution in an austere environment where no power sources are available and the storage solution must have its own power source that runs on gas, propane, etc. The storage and transport solution needs to be highly mobile to support constant changes in the unit logistics release point in the Fort Stewart Training area. The unit is not authorized on its TDA equipment that provides the capability to store ice. Mission hours during the exercise are from 1700 to 0600 daily, as well as on weekends and DONSAs. The equipment must be able to be operated without a commercial drivers license. Maintenance support needs to be included in the resourcing. Item Description. Provide one (1) 26ft Refrigerated/Freezer Truck storage and transport of Government provided ice. Refrigerated/Freezer Truck must have its own internal power supply. Provide maintenance of Refrigerator/Freezer Containers regarding serviceability. The equipment must be able to be operated without a commercial driver’s license.
