The service to be provided is a fully contractor operated and maintained exclusive use helicopter to support the Fort Stewart Forestry Branch prescribed fire mission. The contractor will provide a helicopter and qualified pilots for prescribed burning a minimum of 115,000 acres of the installation per year, during a burn season that runs from 1 December to 30 June. Other flight missions may include wildfire monitoring, range or timber inspections, personnel transport, or installation boundary surveillance.
